BRING ME THE HORIZON - The poster boys of the Core
Shadow Moses and the Mantra
Few bands have been as controversial as Bring Me The Horizon since their inception. Named after a transformed "Pirates of the Caribbean" quote, their career initially began in deathcore. Early on, a cult built up around vegan, fully tattooed frontman and heartthrob Oli Sykes, which is why many people outside the scene took notice of the Brits. Over time, the band developed further and further in the direction of metalcore, and in 2013 they made their big breakthrough with "Sempiternal". Since then, it opens more and more in the direction of mainstream and shows that their albums are unique and none resembles the predecessor.
