Anthrax belong together with Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer to the Big Four of Thrash Metal, but in contrast to the other three they come from the east instead of the west coast of the USA. With the EP "I'm The Man" and the hit "Bring The Noise", which was recorded together with Public Enemy, they dared to bridge the gap to crossover with rap elements at the end of the eighties and beginning of the nineties. After a rocking phase with Armored Saint singer John Bush on the mic, guitarist and figurehead Scott "Not!" Ian leads the band with the returned frontman Joey Belladonna since 2010 back to the roots. Thrash at it's best!
