Asterix at Helvetios

The Swiss Eluveitie combine melodic death metal of the Gothenburg school with Celtic folklore and corresponding unplugged instruments (mandola, bagpipes, harp, flute) to an equally homogeneous and original mixture. This stands out from other bands of the medieval scene not least because the lyrics are mostly written in a reconstructed form of the Helvetic Gallic. The band around mastermind Chrigel has been awarded the Swiss Music Award as "Best Lice Act" and has thrilled tens of thousands of spectators at festivals like W:O:A. and Masters Of Rock.
