Exactly 40 years the guys from Motörhead rocked the stages of this world. Since their foundation in 1975, a total of 22 official albums have been released. The albums Bomber, Overkill and Ace of Spades are absolute classics and have influenced many other musicians then as now. With the death of the legendary frontman "Lemmy" Kilmister in 2015, one of the greats of heavy metal left the stage forever. Lemmy really gave his all until the end. Rumour has it that he got his nickname because he borrowed a five dollar bill for his slot machines quite often - "Lemme a fiver" ('Can you lend me a five?') became Lemmy. After his death on December 28, 2015, the remaining band members Phil Cambell and Mikkey Dee declared in an interview that the band would not exist without Lemmy.
